Run to the theatrical event of the year, Dead Bride Running. You’ll love this ninety-minute stage comedy as cast members jog their way through the myriad characters that surround Jennifer Von Dart, "The Runaway Bride” We meet wide-eyed Jennifer on Death Row only hours away from her public execution. Her crime? Fleeing her wedding due to cold feet, then lying about being kidnapped. Using her as an example, the Press, Politicians, and Feminists enlist her to promote their personal agendas. But what really happened when Jennifer went out for a jog before her extravagant wedding and didn’t return till days later? Our audience experiences the saga through the eyes of three different characters...three vastly different experiences.

First, the story is told via the dullard John Beigher Jr., Jennifer’s chaste and religious fiancé. (Hell, no wonder she fled!)

Then the same story is told by Judith Iscariot, the gal not chosen to be one of the 14 bridesmaids. We call her Number 15. Let’s just say…she’s a tad bitter. And finally, we learn the truth from Jennifer herself, as she gives Nancy Grace the exclusive story for a hungry tabloid and public. Jennifer spills everything: from fleeing the alter, to her raucous bus ride to Vegas.

Starring Tamara Zook, star of L.A.’s long running THE BOOK OF LIZ, directed by Rick Sparks (Variety’s “most consistently excellent Los Angeles Theater Directors”), and co written by Sparks and award winning Alice Vaughn, this outrageous caper is a non-stop theatrical winner. Full of surprise, it features film montage segments to accompany the live stage action. And although not a musical, D.B.R. has an eleven o’clock production number. As Jennifer arrives in Viva Las Vegas she is the center of the rousing “All You Can Eat!”, a musical showstopper written by cult favorite Kirby Tepper, featuring “Elvis”, “Ann-Margret” and our Jennifer.

A Press Agents dream project,DEAD BRIDE RUNNING has everything…wit, outrageous comedy, music, topical subjects and characters. And it features and is helmed by local theatrical stars! You can be sure that this is one show Jennifer would never run away from.

Neither will you!
